We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at PeoplesHR. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate salary payouts to employees.
  • Compile payroll information by managing payroll preparation, completing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Direct the collection, calculation, and entry of payroll data.
  • Update payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, and job titles.
  • Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.
  • Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
  • Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
