Job Requirements

Experience of 3-4 years in CISO roles, with expertise in ISMS 27001 and CMMI exposure.

Qualifications

MCA or IT Cyber Analysis and Cyber Security qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with all business units to determine possible risks and risk management processes.
  • Establishing and implementing an ISMS Policy and ISMS Objectives.
  • Building ISMS awareness across the organization.
  • Establishing Information Security Roles & Responsibilities.
  • Facilitating the implementation of ISMS across the organization.
  • Scheduling and conducting periodic internal ISMS audits and presenting reports in MRM.
  • Coordinating and conducting management reviews of the ISMS.
  • Deciding the criteria for accepting risks and acceptable levels of risks.
  • Ensuring overall reporting, analysis, and evaluation of security-related event incidents & breaches within the organization.
  • Obtaining DR preparedness assessments from DR Managers periodically.
  • Coordinating with external agencies, such as certification bodies, security consultants, security forums, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Contacting authorities & special interest groups.
  • Reviewing risk assessments.
  • Ensuring internal ISMS audits at planned intervals.
  • Monitoring ISMS implementation and its effectiveness.
  • Defining and specifying the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, process, and product stability via SPC and reliability of company products.
  • Reviewing all development and quality plans for completeness.
  • Participating as inspection moderators in design and code inspections.
  • Reviewing all test plans for adherence to standards.
  • Reviewing a significant sample of all test results to determine adherence to plans.
  • Working with ISMS and software processes maturity models like CMMI and ISO 27001:2013.
  • Knowledge of auditing and reviews for process development.
  • Working with Quality Control in Software Development.
  • Working with assessment and certification processes for CMMI.
  • Participating in and leading various projects relating to compliance regulatory initiatives.
  • Completing and reporting the annual self-assessment, preparing for periodic external quality assurance reviews in accordance with professional standards.

Desirable Skills

Certifications in Cyber Analysis/Cyber Security/Cyber Forensics, etc.

Should possess a flexible approach to problem-solving, be an adept negotiator, and be effective in troubleshooting problems, issues, and/or conflicts.

Proven ability to establish collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, manage multiple projects, and tasks, and have great attention to detail.

The ideal candidate is highly ethical, flexible, action-oriented, and goal-oriented.
