About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at State Street. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing solutions for our GTS Integration Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis, design, and development of solutions for integration services.
  • Participation in major technical upgrades and large technical efforts.
  • Management of efforts within and outside the agile team to ensure tasks are completed successfully within deadlines with agreed quality standards.
  • Understanding user needs and proposing optimized options for solutions.
  • Application of analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Development of solutions on file transport, messaging, and API integration protocols using proprietary and industry-standard formats.
  • System integration using integration software, bespoke, vendor, and/or open source.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in developing Enterprise Web applications in Java/Spring MVC and Microservices.
  • Exposure to any JavaScript framework such as Angular or React.JS is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in Relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working with any of the messaging platforms like IBM MQ, Confluent Kafka, ActiveMQ, or Rabbit MQ, etc.
  • Experience in Agile Teams with a clear understanding of the Agile model.
  • Experience in delivering solutions using any CI/CD and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
  • Experience in conducting design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practice guidelines.
  • Experience in modern engineering practices like Docker, Kubernetes, open cloud experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Integration, Ingestion platforms, and event orchestration is a plus.
