A Geographic Information System Developer is a professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining spatial database systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ArcGIS, Python, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of geospatial concepts and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom connectors to integrate with customer interfaces
  • Communicate with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide architecture recommendations
  • Analyze, review, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging
  • Ensure seamless software integration with customers' systems
  • Maintain technical documentation and coordinate software integration
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, Enterprise Geodatabase, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Online
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and knowledge of building high-performance UI applications
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as React, HTML, CSS languages, and frameworks
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud and experience with dynamic front-end web applications
  • Writing clean code with well-defined abstractions and reducing complexity
  • Passionate about implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Experience with REST API and other web services for integration
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration
  • Master's degree in GIS, Geographic Science, Computer Science, or related field, or related bachelor's degree with relevant experience
