About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Orange Business Services, you will be part of a dynamic team that drives innovation and excellence in full stack development. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java (backend) and Angular (frontend).

Key Responsibilities
• Work as a full-stack developer using Java and Angular, contributing to application enhancements.
• Suggest technical designs for new projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Follow the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment, and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting best practices in coding, design patterns, and architecture.
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, focusing on code quality, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during development and production.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in Java, Angular, and full-stack development, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality products while meeting all project goals.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

About You

We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer with a strong background in Java and Angular. Your ideal profile should include:
• Proficiency in OOPs concepts, data types, and algorithms.
• Experience in Java (J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework).
• Knowledge of JWT, UI/UX trends, and 12-factor compliance.
• Expertise in microservices architecture and development.
• REST and SOAP web service knowledge using JSON/XML.
• Advanced experience with Angular (Angular 8+), including TypeScript, RxJS, and state management libraries like NgRx.
• Good understanding and working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience with Version Control Systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of either cloud platforms (GCP/Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Analytical and design skills for designing and debugging scalable software.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Database knowledge with writing queries, joins, procedures, etc.
• Unix Shell scripting is an added advantage.
• Understanding of security best practices for web applications (OWASP, secure coding, etc.).
• Experience with performance tuning and load balancing strategies.
• Hands-on ELK knowledge.
• Agile and Scrum knowledge.
• Strong communication skills - both verbal and written - and strong relationship, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Additional Information

We are looking for a minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack development using Java and Angular. Telecom domain knowledge is preferred.
