Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Azure cloud infrastructure solutions to drive business growth and scalability.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure services to meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze findings, and design or recommend appropriate infrastructure solutions.
  • Assess complex projects with multiple requirements, prioritize tasks accurately, estimate timeframes, and complete tasks efficiently while communicating changes and updates.
  • Utilize expert technical knowledge to analyze, log, track, and resolve complex issues affecting Azure services.
  • Perform analysis, research, and take corrective action as needed to resolve 3rd tier incidents, requests, problems, and escalations from lower tiers of support.
  • Develop standards and technical documentation to support Level 1 and 2 staff in implementing Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Adhere to and promote existing ITIL processes and change management procedures within the organization.
  • Stay current with new and evolving Azure technologies through formal training and self-directed education.
  • Manage and monitor system performance, capacity, and availability using tools like Splunk, Nagios, and SolarWinds.
  • Lead the design, engineering, development, implementation, integration, and execution of Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years overall IT experience and 3+ years of relevant Microsoft Azure architecture, design, and delivery experience.
  • Consulting experience with large-scale implementations on Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in Azure Infra, Networks, Storage, Apps, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in creating solutions, presenting, and articulating winning propositions for Microsoft Azure.
  • Well-versed with cloud architecture styles and design patterns.
  • Experience in developing cloud migration approaches, defining migration roadmaps, and providing estimates.
  • Experience with Exchange and Exchange Online.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery.
  • Experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications using Azure PaaS Capabilities (App Services Plans, Key Vault, SQL Azure DB, Azure Functions, Containers, AKS, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management).
  • Experience in Enterprise Integration Technologies such as BizTalk, Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
