Strategic Program Leader for E-commerce Operations

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead strategic operational initiatives for our Sellers on Amazon Marketplace. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to drive business outcomes and improve Seller experience. Your primary responsibilities will include defining strategy, providing key inputs to product and partner teams, reviewing performance on key KPIs, and facilitating programmatic input to ensure accountability for strategic and tactical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive collaboration across key partner team leaders and program owners to identify synergies and create best practice sharing.
- Create mechanisms to surface Seller voices, conceptualize program changes, and coordinate large groups of stakeholders to drive impactful projects to completion.
- Gain support for your strategy from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership.
- Identify and analyze data on a frequent basis to isolate issues, drive improvements, and prioritize competing program opportunities.
- Set up performance mechanisms, track performance, and manage obstacles to achieve objectives.
- Communicate performance, articulate root-cause analysis, and link to specific improvement areas.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
- Drive adoption of internal mechanisms and seller-facing tools that drive long-term benefits.
Basic Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions
- Excellent structuring and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA from top-tier universities
- Passionate about people and customers; believe that a service can only be as good as its customers believe it to be
- Data-driven with proficiency to make the right decisions in a complex, fast-changing environment
- Experience in dealing with ambiguity and independently determining the charter of the assigned area
- Experience in a results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions. Strong analytical, mediation, and problem-resolution skills.
- Experience with e-commerce, retail, or process operations would be an advantage
- Exposure to data reporting tools like SQL
