Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our medical analysis tools. In this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough manual testing, focusing on user experience, data accuracy, and workflow validation.

  • You will conduct extensive testing, collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and domain experts to understand user workflows and identify critical testing scenarios.
  • You will specialize in testing AI/ML outputs, including validation of NLP results, LLM responses, and data processing accuracy across diverse medical datasets.
  • You will work directly with physicians and legal teams to gather feedback and ensure our tools meet real-world quality standards.
  • You will help establish QA processes and documentation standards, contributing to our testing practices as we scale.
  • You will identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools while working collaboratively with the development team to resolve issues quickly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of manual QA experience with web applications, including test case creation, execution, and defect management.
  • Strong experience in functional testing, user acceptance testing, and exploratory testing.
  • Familiarity with web technologies and ability to test applications built with modern frameworks.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts or strong willingness to learn, including how to validate model outputs and data processing results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail—critical when working with medical data.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks or scripting for test automation.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools and basic understanding of REST endpoints.
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
  • Background in healthcare or regulated industries with understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and web application architecture.
  • Experience testing NLP applications or AI-powered products.
