We are currently recruiting for a prominent $4 billion healthcare client in the United States, where we will leverage our technological expertise to support and enhance their healthcare initiatives.
Job Overview
This position involves creating high-quality technical documentation for embedded software of next-generation insulin pumps, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity across multiple documents produced by software engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to gather technical details and develop content.
- Create clear and concise use case diagrams, functional flow charts, and other technical illustrations.
- Review and analyze published content, recommending revisions or changes in scope, format, reuse, and single-sourcing opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with document control procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in preparing, reviewing, and presenting documentation during audits and certification processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or Communication, or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of technical writing experience for engineering organizations, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality documentation.
- Expertise in technical writing for software engineering organizations, with knowledge of document content creation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word/PowerPoint, Adobe FrameMaker).
- Familiarity with Atlassian software or similar tools, Requirements Management and Test Case Management Systems (e.g., Jama).
- Excellent proofreading and fact-checking skills, strong organizational and project management skills, and strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
