AI/ML Engineering Manager Role

The AI/ML Engineering Manager will lead the development of cutting-edge Gen AI and ML solutions using Python, GPT Models, AWS Lex, OpenAI, AWS, OpenCV, and other emerging technologies. The successful candidate will oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and systems, as well as manage and mentor a team of AI/ML Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong programming skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, and C++ is essential for AI and ML engineers.
  • Knowledge of statistics and probability: A solid understanding of statistics and probability theory is required to build and optimize algorithms.
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms: AI and ML engineers should have a deep understanding of various machine learning algorithms.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks: Proficiency in using popular deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
  • Data modeling and evaluation skills: Skilled in data modeling and evaluation, including data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model selection.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms: Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to work with big data: Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Skilled at identifying problems, breaking them down into smaller components, and developing solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Effective communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous learning and curiosity: Constantly learning and keeping up with the latest advancements in AI and ML to stay competitive.
Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a track record of designing and deploying successful AI/ML models and systems. At least 1 year of experience in people/team management is also required.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
Estimated Salary Range

Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
