Job Title: UI/UX Lead

We are seeking a seasoned UI/UX professional to spearhead our design vision and strategy for healthcare applications.

This leadership role entails driving the overall design direction, building scalable design systems, and delivering intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.

You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams while mentoring designers to create impactful solutions.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping product experiences for doctors, patients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers.
  • Define and drive the overall design vision and strategy for healthcare applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and translate them into intuitive designs.
  • Create and manage design systems, style guides, and reusable components for consistency and scalability.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma or Adobe XD.
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to validate design decisions.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards, responsive principles, and cross-platform compatibility.
  • Work closely with frontend developers to ensure design handoff and implementation quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a mentorship role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI design, UX workflows, and interactive prototypes.
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience in wireframing, prototyping, user research, and usability testing.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with healthcare or SaaS product design.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Angular) for better developer collaboration.
  • Exposure to data visualization and dashboard design.
  • Knowledge of motion design, micro-interactions, or animation tools (After Effects, Principle, Lottie).
