Job Role: Blaster - Mining (Blasting License is Mandatory)

As a Blaster - Mining with Global Dynamic Talent Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring safe blasting practices in mining sites. You must have 5+ years of experience and hold a Diploma in Mining or Graduation in any discipline. A Blaster Certificate of competency issued by Directorate General of Mines Safety is also mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure discharging duties and responsibilities as a Blaster as per MMR-1961 and HEMM permission 106(2) (b)
  • Responsible for maintaining all registers and records in accordance with Act, Rule, and Regulations
  • Preparation of charges and charging and stemming of holes shall be carried out by or under the personal supervision of you. You shall fire the shots yourself.
  • Adequate fencing of the area and strict observation of Regulations 167 shall be ensured in case of misfired shot
  • Ensure charges in shot holes are neither over-charged nor under-charged, considering the task to be performed
  • Return all unused explosive to the magazine after blasting
