Progress Developer

We are looking for a skilled Progress developer to join our team at Ignitho Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and modify software using various programming languages as needed.
  • Analyse user needs to determine how software should be built or if existing software should be modified.
  • Develop and/or perform software automated testing procedures to ensure software functions as needed.
  • Translate business requirements and specifications into usable software.
  • Process and understand capabilities and limitations of data outputs from the software.
  • Participate in design and code reviews.
  • Assist with software deployment.

Required Skills:

  • Progress 4GL for Business Logic and CHUI
  • ADM/ADM2 for GUI
  • Webspeed, HTML, JavaScript, API knowledge for Web Development
  • Familiarity with optional skills such as Prodataset, XML/JSON/EXCEL reading and writing

Experience: 3+ years of experience in Progress development

Working Hours: 6PM to 2AM
