Vertiv, a global leader in critical infrastructure solutions, is seeking an Oracle Financials Functional Specialist to optimize our financial systems and processes. The selected candidate will play a key role in analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Financials applications to meet the financial and accounting needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Oracle Financials applications to meet the specific financial requirements of the organization.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Management, and Cash Management.
  • Analyze and understand business processes and workflows related to financial functions.
  • Collaborate with business users to identify process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance system functionality.
  • Assist in integrating Oracle Financials with other systems or third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency between financial modules and other integrated systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans for financial system upgrades, enhancements, and patches.
  • Perform thorough testing to ensure that configurations and customizations meet business requirements.
  • Provide support and occasionally training to end-users in using Oracle Financials effectively.
  • Address user inquiries, issues, and system problems in a timely and efficient manner, respecting agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Create functional specifications for reports and support developers' teams during implementation cycles.
  • Be responsible for the change management process.
  • Ensure that Oracle Financials are configured to meet regulatory and security compliance requirements.
  • Work with internal compliance teams and external auditors to provide required controls and system walkthroughs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience working with Oracle EBS Financials.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of EBS financial modules – AP, AR, GL, CM, CST, SLA.
  • Knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles is a plus.
  • Understanding of EU legislative and financial regulations (EU Tax, e-invoicing, SAFT reporting).
  • Oracle Financials certification is advantageous.
  • Experience with system integration and data migration is a plus.
  • Experience with PL/SQL is an advantage.
