Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned testing expert to lead our end-to-end testing strategy for large-scale implementation projects. Your key responsibilities will include defining, planning and managing the testing strategy, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure adequate test coverage, and reviewing and approving test plans, cases and scenarios.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate business requirements and system design.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in onsite/offshore testing environments across different test phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing and Performance Testing.
  • Work closely with business development and project stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure that testing efforts are aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure effective defect management, root cause analysis and closure within agreed timelines.
  • Provide regular test progress reporting highlighting risks, issues and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure adherence to SDLC processes, compliance standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree with 12+ years of experience in IT testing, including at least 6-8 years in core banking testing projects.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale testing programs in Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS versions 11.x - 14.x).
  • Hands-on experience in test strategy design, effort estimation, resource planning and test execution.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations and modules such as Core Banking, Payments, Loans, Trade Finance and General Ledger.
  • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, APIs, REST APIs, microservices and batch processing advantageous for integration testing.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman and JMeter or similar for functional and performance testing.
  • Experience in digital core transformation projects will be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and team management skills with proven ability to deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and reporting skills.
