About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based platforms that ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing cloud-based platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Contribution to the technical design and development of the platform, making informed decisions on technology selection, infrastructure, and integration points
  • Maintenance of coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality and maintainable code
  • Code reviews and provision of constructive feedback, ensuring that the team follows coding standards and best practices
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and UI/UX designers, to ensure seamless integration and an excellent user experience
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, AI/ML frameworks, and best practices, and sharing insights and knowledge with the team
  • Monitoring and optimizing the platform's performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization and responsiveness
  • Collaboration with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and scalable deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the platform
  • Working with less structured, more complex issues
  • Acting as a resource to others
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Technical developer or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex cloud-based projects
  • Solid technical expertise in cloud technologies, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, and experience with serverless architecture, microservices, and containerization
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and frameworks, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in cloud-based environments
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with distributed computing frameworks
  • Proven solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative technical solutions
  • Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and AI/ML
