Identity and Access Management Engineer

This role involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of identity and access management solutions to ensure secure and compliant systems.

  1. Job Description:
  2. Design, implement, and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow solutions: provisioning, lifecycle automation (Joiner‐Mover‐Leaver), access certifications, and self-service capabilities.
  3. Develop and automate end-to-end CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven, Ant) to deploy SailPoint configurations, connectors, workflows, and rules across development, testing, and production environments.
  4. Build custom connectors/integrations to enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, cloud services like AWS, Azure), APIs (REST/SOAP), and identity protocols (SAML, OAuth).
  5. Author secure, maintainable code using Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for rule, workflow, and report logic.
  6. Monitor and support SailPoint environments with Tier 2/3 incident response, performance tuning, and proactive alerting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in Identity & Access Management, with significant hands-on practice building and operating SailPoint solutions.
  • Proven experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices, implementing automated pipelines to support code migration and deployments.
  • Technical fluency in scripting and development (Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, Shell), and integration with directory services, cloud platforms, and APIs.
  • Solid working knowledge of IAM lifecycle processes—Joiner/Mover/Leaver, RBAC modeling, access certifications—and regulatory compliance considerations.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and adaptability—all underpinned by Care, Courage, and Commitment.
