We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager and Cost Analyst to join our team at TE Connectivity.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project manager with expertise in new product development (NPD) project costing analysis and improvement management. As an Engineering Project Manager and Cost Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing cross-functional engineering projects, ensuring they meet financial, schedule, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with plant costing teams to optimize cost models for mega and large projects, ensuring quotations align with best costs.
  • Work with internal and external specialists to analyze product design and manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for cost improvements and delivering proposed solutions to project teams.
  • Create comprehensive cost roadmaps for mega and large projects, track actual costs post-project close, and analyze variances between assumptions and actual results, refining the accuracy of cost roadmap assumptions.
  • Analyze cost benchmarks for mega and large projects.
  • Conduct cost sensitivity analyses for volume, manufacturing location, and sourcing strategy impacts.
  • Host weekly meetings with action-oriented teams focused on key projects' cost improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of experience in NPD project costing analysis and improvement, with expertise in new product cost analysis and improvement management.
  • Familiarity with connector and cable assembly business, products, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to think systematically, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in English.
