Lead Avionics Systems Developer

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves designing and developing advanced avionics systems for aircraft. As a lead avionics systems developer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex avionics systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and certification of these systems, and conducting system-level analysis and optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionics engineering or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in avionics engineering or related roles. They will also have proficiency in avionics simulation and analysis tools, as well as experience with avionics integration and certification processes.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations for avionics systems, including DO178, ARP 4754, and ARP 4761.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced avionics systems for aircraft
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and certification of avionics systems
  • Conduct system-level analysis and optimization
  • Stay updated with the latest avionics technologies and industry trends
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in avionics engineering or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of avionics systems and design principles
  • Proficiency in avionics simulation and analysis tools
  • Experience with avionics integration and certification processes
  • Knowledge of DO178, ARP 4754, and ARP 4761 standards
