Job Posting:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced software developer to design and develop scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing maintainable code using Ruby on Rails framework.

  • Technical Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with Sinatra framework.
  • Proven experience working with microservices-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, ZooKeeper, and Thrift or similar messaging/streaming platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with SOLR for search and AWS services (especially AWS SQS, hosting, and cloud infrastructure).
  • Experience with security practices including bot mitigation (e.g., Cloudflare or similar).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience in healthcare technology platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable web applications using Ruby on Rails framework.
  • Implement efficient database designs and optimize query performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and bug fixes.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
  • Maintain and improve existing systems and applications.
