Academic Faculty Member

Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Preparation and Delivery:
- Design and develop comprehensive syllabi and course material for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and academic standards.
- Effectively deliver high-quality lectures using modern teaching methodologies (including case studies, simulations, discussions, and digital tools), engaging students in the learning process.
- Create and administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate students' progress. Provide constructive feedback to students.
2. Mentoring and Student Guidance:
- Provide academic and career mentorship to students. Guide them in their academic growth, research projects, internships, and placement preparations.
- Offer support and advice to students on personal and professional development, helping them achieve their goals.
3. Research and Publications:
- Conduct high-quality research in your area of specialization (business management, marketing, finance, HR, etc.) and publish in reputed journals.
- Collaborate with colleagues, industry experts, and other research institutions on joint research initiatives.
- Actively contribute to the academic community by publishing research papers in national and international journals, presenting at conferences, and contributing to academic discourse.
4. Innovation and Patents:
- Develop innovative ideas, methodologies, or solutions related to your field. Work towards filing patents for original inventions or processes in business management.
- Engage with the industry to understand real-world problems, and encourage students and faculty to work on projects that can lead to patentable solutions.
5. Consultancy and Industry Engagement:
- Provide consultancy services to industry partners, offering solutions to real-world business challenges. Build and maintain strong industry relations.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and developments. Develop networks with industry leaders and professionals to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.
6. Institute Building and Development:
- Contribute to the development and growth of new programs, workshops, and seminars at PIBM.
- Participate in accreditation processes and rankings, ensuring that the institute maintains its standards of excellence.
- Actively participate in various institute-building initiatives, including faculty development, alumni relations, and enhancing the overall reputation of PIBM.
Key Qualifications:
• Ph.D. or a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and relevant publications.
• Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the university/college level (postgraduate experience preferred).
• Proven track record of research and publications in recognized journals or conferences.
• Experience in industry consultancy and/or mentoring students in internships or projects is an advantage.
The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $120,000 per annum.
