Job Title: Odoo Developer - Digital Gift Card Platform Expert

We are seeking an experienced Odoo developer to join our team at YOUGotaGift, a leading digital gift card company in the Middle East. The ideal candidate must possess a solid foundation in Python programming and demonstrated expertise in crafting and customizing modules within Odoo.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an Odoo developer to work on a cutting-edge digital gift card platform, leveraging their technical skills to create innovative solutions. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing and developing Odoo apps, collaborating with stakeholders to identify requirements, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Odoo Apps: Create new module development, customization, and deployment of ERP modules from scratch.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Identify requirements, develop effective software solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Code Quality and Maintenance: Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to functional requirements, conduct code reviews, and maintain high-quality coding standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Odoo Framework and Architecture: In-depth knowledge of Odoo framework, architecture, and development best practices.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and XML, with experience working with database management and SQL queries.
  • Database Management: Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and data import using ODOO import or custom import using Python.
  • API Integration: Experience integrating banking APIs and working with various types of API interfaces (REST, GraphQL, SOAP).
  • Unit Testing and Design Patterns: Strong understanding of unit testing, design patterns, and usage of tools like profilers.
  • Large-Scale Applications: Experience working with large-scale applications, integrating data from millions of databases, and handling complex database operations.
