We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Data Engineering to join our team in Hyderabad, India. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and managing ETL pipelines, leveraging strong SQL skills, and using programming languages to support data engineering workflows.

About the Role

The primary focus of this role will be on AWS infrastructure tasks such as managing IAM roles, S3 policies, SFTP endpoints, Lambda functions, RDS, Redshift, and other cloud databases. The secondary responsibility will involve designing and managing ETL pipelines, leveraging strong SQL skills, and using programming languages to support data engineering workflows.

  • Manage and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance.
  • Design and build robust ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems, including AWS data lakes or data warehouses (e.g., Redshift).
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and transformation, supporting data engineering workflows.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with AWS services (IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Transfer for SFTP, including endpoint management.
  • Strong experience with ETL pipeline design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in any programming language (e.g., Python, Scala) used for automation and data engineering tasks.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, data manipulation, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud database management and AWS automation tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
