We are a dynamic and innovative company looking for an experienced International Trade Strategist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Export Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs. This includes monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Research:

  • Study the market in Nigeria and other target countries to identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market trends to inform export strategies.
  • Maintain records of market research and analysis.

Export Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs.
  • Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements with international partners.
  • Liaise with customs authorities and other government bodies to ensure compliance with regulations.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Generate and enhance sales of products in Nigeria and other countries.
  • Identify new business opportunities by tapping potential customers from different countries.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities are carried out within agreed budgets, volume, sales, and time scales.

Relationship Management:

  • Establish and manage relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents, and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and freight forwarding agreements.
  • Constantly review distributor's performance and monitor their work to provide relevant information to management.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

Location: Nigeria
