About the Job
The Store Manager leads a team of sales associates, administrative staff, and support personnel to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue. This role oversees day-to-day store operations, ensuring a smooth functioning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Open the store by 9:05 AM and manage inventory, stock levels, and display merchandise in an attractive manner.
- Staff Management: Monitor staff attendance and update reports, recruit, train, and supervise branch staff.
- Cash Handling: Reserve minimum cash and deposit excess cash into the respective branch current account.
Customer Focus: Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly.
Sales and Marketing: Drive Sales and Marketing initiatives to achieve targets and maximize revenue. Plan and execute promotional activities and events to drive sales.
Team Collaboration: Lead and manage a team of sales associates, administrative staff, and support personnel. Provide guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high performance and productivity levels.
Financial Acumen: Manage the branch budget effectively, controlling expenses while maximizing profitability. Analyze financial reports and take corrective actions as needed.
Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding safety, security, and legal requirements. Implement security measures to safeguard assets and prevent theft or loss.
