As an experienced airport professional, you will oversee the delivery of Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services at airports in Guwahati, Assam. The ideal candidate has 10-15 years of experience in airports, fire safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team for round-the-clock readiness and ensure optimal performance of Crash Fire Tender operations.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to enhance ARFF efficiency.
  • Conduct regular training and drills for peak performance and readiness, focusing on incident response and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with airport authorities and emergency services to ensure seamless emergency response and minimize risks.
  • Oversee maintenance and equipment readiness of ARFF vehicles to guarantee prompt response times.
  • Analyze incident reports and implement corrective measures to improve response effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, upholding industry best practices.
  • Participate in airport emergency exercises and provide expert guidance to optimize emergency preparedness.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold fire safety and emergency preparedness standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science or related field, emphasizing theoretical knowledge and practical application.
  • Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF), highlighting expertise in ARFF services.
  • Valid certification in ARFF from a recognized aviation authority, demonstrating adherence to industry standards.
  • Valid certification in Fire Safety and Prevention, showcasing commitment to fire safety best practices.
  • 10-15 years of experience in airports with demonstrated experience in ARFF services, leading teams and managing emergency responses.
