About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Business Systems Consultant to join our team. As a Business Systems Consultant, you will play a critical role in evaluating complex business problems and providing technical assistance to identify cost-effective automated systems and procedures that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate complex business problems and provide technical assistance to identify automated systems and procedures that meet business requirements.
  • Review and evaluate technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet-based solutions.
  • Present recommendations for resolving business problems.
  • Exercise independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedules.
  • Provide information about communication between business and technology teams.
  • Work with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document results.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong Data Analysis and Automation skills.
  • Well-versed in Alteryx and development of medium to complex Alteryx workflows.
  • Strong Data Querying experience using SQL from different databases.
  • Experience in working with different environments like UAT, PROD & PROD Parallel.
  • Good to have exposure on Axiom Regulatory Reporting Tool, Power BI.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • BE/B. Tech/BS/BA or higher in Computer Technology or Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business.

Job Expectations:

  • Strong Business Systems Data experience, Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Strong experience in Alteryx and related Automation tools.
  • Strong SQL hand-on experience required.
  • Participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems.
  • Contribute to the automation of financial reports and validation of those using Alteryx.
  • Participate in development and testing activities using Alteryx and related technical stack.
  • Perform Data level Validations, Analysis, and data insights.
  • Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.
  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems.
  • Act as an internal consultant within Finance technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes.
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables.
  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams.
  • Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design.
