Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cloud AI Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud AI Engineer, you will design and implement AI and machine learning solutions in cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- AI Model Deployment and Optimization
- Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Optimize models for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in a cloud environment.
- Ensure efficient and secure handling of data pipelines that feed into AI models.
- Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure to support AI workloads, including data processing, model training, and inference.
- Leverage cloud-native services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML) for the development and deployment of AI solutions.
- Design microservices and serverless architectures that support AI model serving.
- Work closely with data scientists to understand model requirements and help translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate AI models into production applications and services.
- Ensure smooth handoff from development to production, managing the lifecycle of AI models, including testing, versioning, and updating.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to track the performance of AI models in production, including model drift and performance degradation.
- Develop automated retraining and updating processes for models as new data becomes available.
- Implement strategies to handle model lifecycle management, including versioning, auditing, and rollback.
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for AI and machine learning model deployments.
- Automate testing, training, and deployment workflows to streamline the AI development process.
- Ensure reliable, continuous integration and delivery of new models to cloud environments.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with cloud security best practices, including data encryption, identity, and access management (IAM), and secure APIs.
- Implement privacy-preserving techniques when handling sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Perform regular audits of cloud AI infrastructure to identify and mitigate risks.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies.
- Explore and implement cutting-edge AI solutions such as deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and reinforcement learning in cloud environments.
- Conduct research and proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to evaluate the feasibility of new AI models and cloud services.
- Proficiency in Backend Development
- Strong experience with backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or JavaScript.
- Expertise in working with frameworks such as NestJS, Express.js, or Django.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
- Experience in database schema design, optimization, and management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience integrating AI and ML models into backend services.
- Familiarity with using AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- An estimated annual salary of $140,000 - $160,000.
