Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Development Leader to join our AirGDS, Master Pricer & Search IT (AMS) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our product development processes, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of our search products like Master Pricer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for search solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- ART Management: Lead the Agile Release Train (ART), coordinating with multiple Agile teams to ensure synchronized planning, development, delivery of product increments as well as System Demos ceremonies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Release Train Engineer, System Architect, Product Owners, Product Managers, UX/UI, Product Marketing Managers, and Sales, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and manage expectations.
- Backlog Management: Oversee the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized, prioritized, and aligned with the overall product strategy and release timelines.
- Program Increment (PI) Planning: Facilitate PI planning sessions, setting clear objectives, and ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common Goals & Targets.
- Performance Metrics: With Release Train Engineer, establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives and ART effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in product development processes, leveraging feedback, retrospectives and data to enhance efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, in an Agile environment, preferably within the travel or technology industry.
- Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile Release Trains (ART) or large-scale Agile transformations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Change Management: Effective management and implementation of organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
