Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned SERVICE DELIVERY STRATEGIST to join our team at NTT DATA.

About the Role

The Senior Service Transition Manager will be responsible for ensuring a successful transition of clients with medium to complex services engagements.

This involves achieving a successfully transitioned service to the agreed timeframe, costs, and service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transition Project Management: Implements, runs, governs, and controls transition projects/programs from inception through to completion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manages client relationships and establishes positive relationships and constant communications with all internal stakeholders during a service transition project.
  • Engagement Planning: Plans and facilitates engagement sessions with stakeholders in a service transition project.
  • Risk Management: Manages and mitigates service transition risks.
  • Escalation Management: Manages client and internal escalations as per the standard escalation processes.
  • Progress Reporting: Reports on transition execution against the contracted planning and identifies any major issues.
  • Handover and Readiness: Ensures handover for service execution and operational readiness validation has been successful.
  • Early-Life-Support: Supports new services through an Early-life-support model as required.
  • Project Monitoring: Ensures that all service transition-planning projects meet objectives and timing. Handover risk register to service operations team.
  • Team Management: Manages virtual teams to deliver the planned outcome for transition and transformation projects.
  • Service Validation: Manages thorough validation and testing of services provisioned as part of the transition.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Seasoned Experience: Seasoned track record of medium to complex Services Transition Management delivery within an IT environment.
  • Knowledge and Attributes: Seasoned understanding of the organization's services portfolio and capabilities.
  • Certifications: Recognized Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.
