A position of IT Operations Specialist has been opened at Airbus India to support the Information Management (IM) for Airbus Programmes, Customer Engagement & Services. The mission is to deliver innovative IT solutions that support digital transformation and efficient operations for airlines customers. The selected candidate will join the Technical Data Authoring & Production product in charge of the applications portfolio, allowing Airbus and Airlines to author, publish and consult the right Maintenance Information for the right Aircraft systems and parts installed. The main task is to ensure the set of applications under responsibility remains up and running, manage all incidents raised by end users, and ensure the right level of alerting in case of operational issues. The ideal candidate will have a Master Degree in Computer Science or relevant field, with 5-10 years of experience in IT and good knowledge of ITIL management, SAP, and Linux systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support operational activities to secure Technical data production in time and Incident management at the level expected.
  • Perform ITIL based support processes, including incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.
  • Analyze console messages, diagnose system failures, and take corrective action to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Reschedule jobs in Control-M if needed, manage data change requests, and execute tools to maintain the system up-to-date and running on performance and quality.

The role requires strong collaboration with the Airbus Authoring & Production team based in Toulouse and a proactive approach to providing guidance & inputs for the operational roadmap.
