Asset and Wealth Management Operations

Operations

Our Operations team partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales, and trading capabilities to clients around the world. This vital service delivery role also provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm's assets and reputation.

Your Impact

As a Private Lending Services team member, you'll collaborate with regional lending managers, private lending underwriters, and other operations teams to perform critical control functions in a rapidly growing business. You'll deliver an excellent client experience while ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Our Impact

The Private Lending Services team supports the PWM Private Lending organization by originating new loans through GS Bank USA and GS International Bank to PWM clients and Private Equity Firms in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia. You'll play a key role in ensuring clients are in compliance with federal regulations throughout the loan lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the private lending organization by interacting with Regional Lending Managers, Private Lending Underwriters, and other operations teams.
  • Partner with PWM PWAs and WMPS to assist clients in the application, origination, and ongoing servicing of loans within the portfolio.
  • Showcase strong control and risk management strategies to ensure compliance with GS Bank USA while providing excellent client service.
  • Develop strategies and opportunities for process efficiencies to reduce manual tasks and increase control in a rapidly growing business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in financial services.
  • Proven client service skills, teamwork, and a sense of urgency to fulfill time-sensitive and highly confidential tasks.
  • Ability to develop and nurture relationships with senior business leaders within cross-divisional teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
