Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning

Develop and implement strategic business plans for designated geographic zones, setting goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the zone meets or exceeds its targets.

Team Management

Oversee a team of Area or Regional Managers and other staff within the zone, including hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring team members, as well as setting performance targets and conducting regular performance reviews.

Sales and Revenue Growth

Drive sales and revenue growth within the assigned zone, working with teams to develop and execute sales strategies, monitor sales performance, and make necessary adjustments to achieve or exceed sales targets.

Market Analysis

Analyze market conditions, trends, and competition within the zone to identify opportunities and threats, providing crucial information for making informed business decisions and adjustments to strategies.

Budget Management

Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure that financial objectives are met for the zone.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders within the designated zone, resolving customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Compliance and Reporting

Ensure that activities within the zone adhere to company policies and regulations, providing regular reports to higher management on zone performance and relevant metrics.

Communication

Liaise with senior management, other departments, and teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment with the company's overall goals and strategies.

Problem Solving

Address and resolve issues and challenges that arise within the zone, including troubleshooting operational problems, resolving disputes, and finding creative solutions to meet objectives.

Performance Evaluation

Evaluate the performance of team members and implement performance improvement plans when necessary, identifying training and development needs to enhance the skills of teams.

Continuous Improvement

Seek ways to improve operations and processes within the zone to increase efficiency and performance, continuously evaluating and refining strategies to meet objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Education

Graduation with an MBA from a reputable institution.

Experience

10+ years of experience, preferably in Retail (Food & Beverages / QSR / FMCG).

Functional Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for interacting with team members, senior management, customers, and other stakeholders. Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions, competition, and performance metrics are also crucial.

Technical Skills

Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and mentoring, are essential. Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape is also valuable.

Language Fluency

English, Hindi, and any other local language.
