**Job Description:**

Talent500 is recruiting for a Cybersecurity Advisor within the Cybersecurity Strategy and Architecture team, part of the Global Cybersecurity Foundations Department. This team supports all aspects of the information security strategy, design, and planning.

The Cybersecurity Strategy and Architecture Team is responsible for defining technical and strategic road maps for the Information Security organization as well as supporting internal and external customer requests for architectural support and security guidance.


Main Responsibilities:

1. Producing high-level security design patterns and security architecture documentation, covering documented descriptions of security management procedures, processes, information flows, and integrations.

2. Supporting or leading product evaluations, proof of concepts/value, and working with key stakeholders on review and selection processes.

3. Supporting or leading architectural modeling and documentation of Cyber Security products and services against selected frameworks.

4. Supporting or leading threat modeling against new business initiatives and requirements and/or exception governance processes.

5. Delivering technical architecture documentation of high-level designs for specific technical solutions covering functional and non-functional requirements.

6. Ensuring all corporate standards are adhered to in the security design process.

7. Obtaining knowledge and information on Cybersecurity industry best practices both for owned and new/emerging technologies and services.

8. Supporting the development of and documentation of standard solution and design patterns for the deployment of security products and services.

9. Providing technical and solution architectural guidance to teams and team members within the Information Security Organization as well as internal business stakeholder groups outside of Information Security and external customers.

10. Working with selected 3rd parties/vendors/partners to critically assess new and/or existing solutions and services, evaluating products and services for their efficiency and effectiveness as well as their cost benefit and return on investment projection.


Key Technologies and Experience:

Experience of security frameworks such as NIST, Mitre ATT&CK Framework, SABSA, and Cyber Kill Chain.

Experience and/or knowledge of IT Architectural, Service, and Governance processes such as TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL.

Experience of Zero Trust networking and connectivity solutions and principles.


Specific Technical and/or Solution Experience:

Zero Trust Networking and Connectivity – Products and Services.

Perimeter Security Controls – Products and Services.

End Point Security and Controls – Products and Services.

Multi-Factor Authentication - Products and Services.

Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID.

Public Cloud IaaS and PaaS products and services.


Team Collaboration:

As an advisor, you will be required to informally lead and motivate team members, provide subject matter expertise and guidance, and demonstrate thought leadership to help overcome challenges and/or provide innovative solution ideas to tackle business problems.


About the Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this job will have courses and/or relevant work experience in some or all the following areas:

Experience in an information security team as part of a global corporation in the roles of either engineering and delivery and/or support and operations.

Extensive experience in general networking and communications technologies, products, and services.

Extensive experience in general IT infrastructure services across a variety of operating systems and platforms.

Experience in one or more cloud platforms of either Azure, GCP, or OCI.

Experience or exposure to a Dev/Ops application development environment.

A highly analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and solution design.

Demonstrate knowledge and give practical examples of a defense-in-depth strategy and how such an approach benefits the organization.


Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
