We are seeking a talented AI Research Engineer Intern to join our NLP research team in Triomics. As an AI Research Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare and cutting-edge generative AI technology.

About the Role:

Our ideal candidate is passionate about the intersection of healthcare and AI technology. You should have expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and hands-on experience with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch and HuggingFace. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in NLP techniques, contribute to advancing the state-of-the-art in clinical AI, and collaborate with experienced professionals. Additionally, this opportunity presents the chance to have your work published in high-impact venues for healthcare AI and NLP.

What We Expect:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field at the Bachelor's or Master's level. With strong proficiency in Python programming language.
2. Strong experience working with raw datasets, including data cleaning, preprocessing, exploratory analysis, data structuring, etc.
3. In-depth knowledge of NLP concepts and techniques, with the ability to implement state-of-the-art research works in Clinical NLP.
4. Self-motivation and dedication to making an impact through your work.
5. Curiosity to work in a domain-specific Machine Learning environment.
6. Experience with Large Language Models like BERT, GPT, Llama, etc., prompt engineering, information retrieval, or retrieval-augmented generation.

Responsibilities:

1. Training and Evaluating Large Language Models that are tuned for specific use case and domain.
2. Preparing datasets and running exploratory data analysis to use them for model development.
3. Reading and understanding recent clinical NLP research papers, implementation and benchmarking those work on proprietary and public datasets.
4. Documenting your work and writing research reports and publishing them in high-impact venues for healthcare AI and NLP.
