  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Scalable Data Architecture: Develop high-quality data pipelines, leveraging Google BigQuery/Google SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets. Create scripts in Python, Go, or Perl to extract, transform, and update datasets.
  • Build Data Visualization Dashboards: Utilize Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio to build reports and dashboards, crafting effective visualizations to present findings and communicate insights clearly.
  • Problem-Solving & Pipeline Development: Identify data engineering requirements, designing scalable data pipelines that utilize data-driven solutions. Apply problem-solving skills to propose actionable recommendations.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance query performance, employing techniques such as indexing, partitioning, parallel processing, caching, efficient storage formats (Parquet/ORC), and in-memory computing.
  • Scheduling & Automation: Schedule and manage workflows using tools like Airflow, Dreampipe, or similar job schedulers.
  • Release Engineering: Support on-demand and scheduled release management processes for data pipelines.

  • Expertise in Google Cloud Stack: Proficiency in the Google Cloud stack is essential for this role.
  • Data Extraction, Analysis, and Visualization: Experience with MapReduce frameworks and ability to develop scripts in Python, Go, or Perl.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify data engineering requirements and design scalable data pipelines.
  • Performance Optimization Techniques: Knowledge of SQL query optimization techniques and ability to apply them.
  • Experience with Scheduling and Automation Tools: Familiarity with tools like Airflow, Dreampipe, or similar job schedulers.
