Responsibilities:

The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for the learning strategy, content creation, and deployment of internal training and proficiency assessments. This role will have ownership over leveraging existing external and internal training platforms as well as owning the course creation process, including interviewing internal subject matter experts, supporting script development, and producing video or written curriculum. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Building a Learning and Development strategy that aligns to the business strategy and capability gaps.
  • Expanding our Competency development framework, capability assessment, and designing class-leading learning solutions, instructional methodologies, and formats.
  • Turning current content into professional training using gamification/non-orthodox training methods.
  • Working with internal and external SMEs for customized content development and revision.
  • Creating and updating the Onboarding curriculum and process design.
  • Maintaining online learning platforms (Udemy, Workday learning, Stem University, and Knowb4) for global audiences and teams.
  • Creating individualized and team learning plans.
  • Technical training skills and experience in administering pieces of training themselves.

Qualifications:

  • At least 12 years of experience in the L&D domain.
  • Extensive knowledge of training best practices (training delivery, process implementation, and adoption evaluation).
  • Expert knowledge of content and learning management systems (ideally Udemy, Workday, Knowb4) and compiling analytics on enablement effectiveness.
  • Expert ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
  • Expert ability to plan and facilitate meetings.
  • Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
  • Highly developed training, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Prefer experience with video production and editing.
