About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive our software delivery process. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating and streamlining our infrastructure and application deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure as Code
    • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
    • Ensure consistent and repeatable deployments across environments.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
    • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
    • Automate testing, code quality checks, and deployment processes.
    • Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for CI/CD.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management
    • Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
    • Implement and maintain cloud governance policies.
  • Containerization and Orchestration
    • Leverage Docker to containerize applications and deploy them using Kubernetes or other orchestration tools.
    • Manage container clusters and ensure high availability and scalability.
  • DevOps Toolchain Management
    • Evaluate, select, and implement DevOps tools and technologies.
    • Maintain and improve the DevOps toolchain to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Troubleshooting and Support
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Provide support to development teams and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Boards.
  • In-depth knowledge of Jenkins and experience with pipeline scripting (Jenkinsfile) and plugin management.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub, including actions, workflows, and security best practices.
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills (i.e., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (i.e., Azure Monitor, ELK Stack).
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Experience with automation frameworks and tools (i.e., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices (i.e., Agile, Lean).
