Job Title: AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to design, develop, and manage cloud-based applications and infrastructure for Crox Consulting Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
  • Implement and manage AWS infrastructure, including compute, storage, databases, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools and AWS services.
  • Optimize cloud-based applications for performance, cost, and scalability.
  • Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments by implementing best practices and AWS security services.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot AWS resources and applications to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate AWS services with existing applications and systems.
  • Write Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
  • Document technical processes, architecture, and solutions for internal and external use.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript).
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and AWS security services.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
