Mathematical Researcher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematical Researcher to join our team of experts in the field of artificial intelligence. As a researcher, you will be responsible for creating and analyzing mathematical problems, testing the reasoning capabilities of large language models, and identifying gaps in logic or understanding.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field, and possess excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Able to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples, and have strong written communication skills, especially in remote settings.

This is a contractor assignment/freelancer position that requires at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST. The duration of the contract is 1 month.

About the Role

You will work on high-impact AI research projects, collaborating with experts worldwide to test and refine AI models. Your tasks may include:

  • Creating math problems, reviewing how the AI solves them, and sharing insights on how well it understands complex reasoning and logical steps.
  • Taking on tasks such as finding permutations of elements, distinct convex polyhedra, and other mathematical challenges.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Have completed a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Have strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples.
