About Us


SUN PHARMA, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced National Accounts Director to join our team. As a key member of our Managed Markets organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of market access strategies for our portfolio of branded products.



Job Summary


The successful candidate will have 3 years of account management experience in managed markets, preferably with national account management experience. A strong understanding of key public and private payer policy infrastructure, payment methodologies, coverage, health policy trends, and current business challenges is essential. This role requires excellent collaboration skills, ability to analyze and synthesize data, and act as an articulate advocate for the market access team.



About the Role


This is a field leadership role supporting market access strategy for SUN PHARMA's Sun family of branded businesses. You will lead all managed markets activities within assigned national and other relevant accounts, including regional payors, specialty pharmacies, PBMs, State Medicaid, medical groups, and other healthcare intermediaries.



Main Responsibilities


- Lead contract negotiations and present value propositions to achieve strategic goals across all accounts in the assigned market.
- Ensure all products are readily available and achieve targeted reimbursement and/or formulary position.
- Develop and execute innovative market access strategies, as well as traditional strategies, while assessing customer capabilities.
- Arrange for senior management customer interactions as needed.
- Penetrate accounts to uncover business opportunities by developing solid professional relationships with key decision makers.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with key account personnel.



What We Offer


SUN PHARMA offers a competitive salary package of approximately $150,000-$200,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage competing priorities, work collaboratively as part of a matrixed team, and operate consistently with healthcare compliance guidelines.
