As a crucial member of our team, you will play a key role in crafting scalable infrastructure, automating operational tasks, and closely monitoring system health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient strategies for designing and maintaining large-scale, reliable production systems.
  • Automate recurring operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring processes to streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to build robust and efficient services that meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.
  • Design and maintain tools for real-time system monitoring, alerting, and incident response to minimize downtime.
  • Take part in on-call rotations and effectively manage incident responses to ensure prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of system performance, identifying bottlenecks or failure points, and develop targeted solutions to optimize system efficiency.
  • Establish and implement comprehensive disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard against potential risks.
  • Advocate for best practices in reliability, availability, and performance across all engineering teams.
  • Compile and document process guides, architectural diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures for seamless knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, with expertise in tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Strong foundation in Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
