The Role

We're seeking an IT Security and Support Specialist who is passionate about safeguarding digital assets and ensuring a seamless technological experience for our team. As part of our team, you will be integral in protecting our organization's digital infrastructure and providing exceptional desktop support.

This role involves a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and clear communication to develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures and IT processes. You will be responsible for designing and enforcing cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive information and systems against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and enforce cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive information and systems against cyber threats.
  • Offer comprehensive desktop support to resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring operational efficiency and employee productivity.
  • Create, revise, and uphold IT process documents, including security protocols, operational procedures, and best practice guidelines.
  • Perform regular security assessments and audits to preemptively identify vulnerabilities and enforce corrective measures.
  • Collaborate across departments to tailor IT support and security solutions that meet the diverse needs of our dynamic teams.

You will also be responsible for staying abreast of the latest in cybersecurity trends and technologies, ensuring our IT practices are ahead of potential threats.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Demonstrable experience in IT support roles with a strong focus on cybersecurity and process documentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of current cybersecurity practices, tools, and risk management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying complex IT concepts in understandable terms.

A relevant industry certification will be viewed favorably.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annumAbout Our Company
