About Jai Kisan
We are building the first rural fintech full-stack platform to cater to the financial needs of borrowers in rural emerging markets.
Our platform facilitates secured and income-generating loans to rural borrowers in India, mostly farmers, from various lending institutions through our mobile and web-based platform.
The platform comprises a user-friendly loan application tool utilizing a credit scoring engine of 200+ parameters for our farmers, a customizable loan origination and management system for our lenders, and a full-stack CRM solution for our channel partners.
The mobile and web interface is available at borrowers' fingertips or at any of our technologically-enabled channel partner locations.
We have just raised ₹300 million ($3.94 million) in a pre-series A funding round led by Arkam Venture, with NABVentures — the VC arm of Indian development finance institution (DFI), the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) — joining in the round in its first-ever investment.
Our team is dedicated to executing our mission and is passionate about supporting the transformation of rural India.
We are looking for an EIR / General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and help build a new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management
- Lead daily business operations, tracking metrics and addressing gaps.
- Implement solutions to improve processes and performance.
- Identify bottlenecks and assist in developing product roadmaps and growth initiatives.
- Drive execution of strategic plans to meet business objectives.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between teams for timely project delivery.
- Monitor progress and align efforts across functions.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and refine them as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes.
- Track key metrics, analyze data for insights, and propose improvements.
- Use data to optimize decision-making and business outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- MBA from tier 1 or tier 2 university
- 2-4 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in startups
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement them effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams
- Passion for entrepreneurship & building things from scratch
