Overview

Mastech Digital is a leading provider of digital transformation solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our projects and drive success.

Estimated Salary

R1,200,000 - R1,500,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in managing offsite development teams and interfacing with onsite teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing project plans, staffing plans, budgets, and risk plans.
  • Liaising between onsite and offsite project teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Adopting industry-standard best practices while adhering to processes and procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with clients to identify requirements and evaluate solution options.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Project Manager will also be expected to:

  • Track and report daily project progress, slippage, effort, resource utilization, and other key metrics.
  • Address inputs or concerns from offsite team members with onsite Project Managers and leads when needed.
  • Work with Principal/Onsite Project Managers or Client Project Managers to identify opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in managing offsite development teams and interfacing with onsite teams.
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
  • A PMI PMP certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of various SDLC models such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile.
  • Experience in managing development or integration projects.
  • Expertise in using MS Project or other tools such as Confluence, Rally, etc.
