**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our team at Keywords Studios. The successful candidate will lead the development of our Core Platform/Services, improving Resiliency, Availability, and Latency.

Keywords Studios is a global leader in video game localization and testing services. Our team collaborates with clients as an extension of their team, sharing passion and purpose to bring their stories to life.

The Role:

You will be responsible for owning and publishing APIs (internal) for the Helpshift ecosystem, enabling feature teams to use our Core Platform. Additionally, you will seek out and eliminate technical debt, implementing solutions that improve team efficiency. You will also mentor junior software developers, advocate for team members, and demonstrate strong work ethics and a sense of ownership.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development.
  • Quick learning abilities and adaptability to new technologies.
  • The ability to stay up-to-date with software industry trends and innovation.
  • Experience working with relational or non-relational databases or distributed systems.
  • The ability to break down complex problems and lead project delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, Clojure, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with code editors: VSCode, IntelliJ, Vim, Emacs.
  • Knowledge of functional programming is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a hybrid setup, worker's insurance, paid Time Offs, and other employee benefits discussed by our Talent Acquisition team in India.
