We are seeking a highly skilled consultant neonatologist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the medical care of newborns, especially premature or critically ill infants.

Job Description
  • Provide expert care for newborns, particularly premature or critically ill infants
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat conditions such as respiratory distress, infections, and congenital abnormalities in newborns
  • Provide neonatal resuscitation and intensive care in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
  • Perform routine checkups and monitor the growth and development of neonates
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, obstetricians, and nursing staff
  • Supervise and guide junior doctors and medical staff in neonatal care
  • Educate and counsel parents on newborn care, including feeding, development, and potential health concerns
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • MD/DNB in Pediatrics or Neonatology
  • 5+ years of experience in neonatal care
  • Expertise in neonatal resuscitation and intensive care
  • Excellent communication and counseling skills, especially with parents
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and handle high-stress situations
