Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new leads for potential clients in the freight industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to make adjustments as necessary
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 7 to 10 years of experience in freight sales or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of import logistics and freight forwarding processes
- Excellent client relationship management skills
- Ability to conduct thorough market research and analyze data
- Proficiency in sales management techniques and strategies
- Ability to forecast sales and set achievable targets
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasive skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
