About Us

At Autodesk, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity. Our software is used to design, visualize, and bring to life some of the world's most amazing things. From sustainable buildings and green cars to smart factories and blockbuster movies, our tools help innovators turn their ideas into reality. We take great pride in our culture here at Autodesk – our Culture Code is at the core of everything we do. We empower our people to thrive and realize their potential, leading to better outcomes for our customers. With a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, we strive to create an equitable workplace where everyone can contribute and grow.

A Key Role within Our Engineering Team As a DevSecOps Engineer at Autodesk, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the security of our customer data, applications, and infrastructure. You'll collaborate with team members and the wider engineering community to produce quality deliverables efficiently. This includes understanding the AWS security landscape, deploying controls to prevent, detect, and respond to security threats, and working across various security teams to develop scalable solutions. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping our company's approach to security and delivering innovative solutions to meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities and Challenges You'll guide shift-left adoption by introducing and improving security testing mechanisms into our CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, etc.). You'll also develop high-quality, secure, stable code for use by our security and engineering teams. Additionally, you'll work closely with security stakeholders to define needs and design solutions relevant to solving security problems. Other responsibilities include extending and improving existing off-the-shelf security tooling to fit into our use cases, maintaining, troubleshooting, documenting, and debugging code as required, and researching external best practices and emerging software and security technologies for possible incorporation into our platforms and methodologies.

Requirements and Qualifications To excel in this role, you should have strong SecOps experience, along with expertise securing infrastructure in AWS (IAM, VPC, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Elasticache, S3, etc.) via automation. Strong development skills in Python, Golang, or related languages are essential. Agile development experience and proficiency with building, maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and modern deployment methodologies are also key requirements. Furthermore, you should possess strong communication skills to converse effectively with diverse audiences and have experience with REST and/or Graph APIs. A salary range of $120,000-$180,000 per annum reflects your expertise and qualifications, reflecting the competitive compensation package we offer. The salary may vary based on location and individual experience.
