Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our search results for the Indian market.

This role requires extensive knowledge of Indian culture, politics, and economy, as well as deep understanding of cultural nuances.

The successful candidate will provide cultural expertise for our business and customers, including how users interact with global search engines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with a global team of Quality Assurance Specialists
  • Managing the performance of cloud-based resources working on projects to improve internet search results
  • Measuring adherence to guidelines and rules, utilizing performance data from operating systems
  • Conducting root cause analysis of performance issues and developing improvement programs
  • Designing, implementing, and delivering training through eLearning materials, online video production, and webinars
  • Communicating with peers to leverage best practice and consistency across all markets

General Skills & Expectations:

  • Fluency in Hindi is ideal, but other Indian languages are desirable
  • Familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs of the Indian market
  • Rigorous working knowledge of the internet and social media in India
  • Verbal, written, and listening skills, with expertise at all levels of the business and with customers
  • Strong research skills, ability to read and understand complex guidelines, and apply them to user behavior
  • Ability to collaborate both internally and externally

Technical Skills & Expectations:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • High comfort level with internet search and researching online
  • Familiarity with Google Suite products is desirable

This role requires a high degree of confidence, experience, and cultural knowledge of using internet-based technologies and online research.
